Intersectional & Complex.png

We ensure that trauma and survivor research are understood and approached through an intersectional lens.

We don't shy away from challenging or contentious issues.

We commit to social justice by

acknowledging inequalities and actively taking steps to challenge and address these.

We recognise that there is no 'textbook trauma survivor' and that while we have much in common, one survivor cannot necessarily speak for all.

Intersectional & Complex

We embrace complexity and celebrate difference as the friction that ignites movement forward.

Please remember that these principles capture what we strive to achieve, but we are imperfect messy humans who struggle, get tired, do mistakes, and are often constricted by the parameters of the systems and structures we operate within.
